大正時代の歴史

不動閣
The wooden building in front of our hotel was built in the Taisho era as the home of Hamada Sake Brewery in the city. In 1959, it was moved to its current location and began to be used as "Fudokaku" (a traditional Japanese inn).
The name Fudokaku comes from the fact that Fudo is enshrined on the mountain opposite the hotel.
In recent years, the building has also been awarded the Yonezawa City Landscape Award in the "Buildings to Preserve" category for its historic and traditional atmosphere.
